Dr.Ramazan Bashardost, the son of Muhammad Ali, was born forty-three years ago in Qarabag district of Ghazni province in a family of a government employee.
The philanthropic doctor completed his primary and secondary education in Barah Bagh Ghazni and Mimeneh city of Faryab province and immigrated to Iran two months after the Thor coup in 1357.
Dr.Bashardost finished his high school education in that country and later moved to the neighboring country of Pakistan. Dr.Bashardost left Pakistan for France in 1362 and pursued his higher education there.
In 1368, he received a master’s degree in law from the University of Grenoble, France, and in 1369, a master’s degree in diplomacy from the University of Paris, and in 1371, a master’s degree in political science, and in 1374, a doctorate in law from the University of Toulouse, France. achieved
Dr.Bashardost returned to the country last year after years of emigrating and studying and was assigned to the United Nations management of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Dr.Bashardost was appointed as the director of the political affairs management of Western European countries in that ministry in 1382, and at the same time, he was cooperating with the National Security Council of the Islamic Transitional Government of Afghanistan as an analyst.
Dr.Bashardost wrote his 1150-page doctoral thesis on diplomacy and the war in Afghanistan, in which he particularly analyzed the diplomacy of the United States, Russia, Iran, and Pakistan regarding Afghanistan.
In addition, they wrote their political science master’s thesis about the role of the United Nations against the Soviet military aggression in Afghanistan.
In 1382, Dr.Bashardost wrote a book entitled Constitutional Laws, History, Political Systems and Diplomatic Relations of Afghanistan from the reign of Ahmad Shah Baba (1125) to today. In this 443-page book, all the basic laws of Afghanistan, political systems and international relations of Afghanistan have been studied and analyzed. This book won the academic prize of political and moral sciences of France in 1381, and this was the first book by an Afghan researcher to receive such an important prize.

Dr.Bashardost is an independent Afghan scholar who is not affiliated with any ethnic group or party and has carried out his scientific and cultural activities about Afghanistan independently. He is serving as the current Minister of Planning after Hamid Karzai dismissed Haj Mohammad Mohaghegh, the former Minister of Planning.
